Syllabus 102

Important things to know in advance  (for both classes)

   1.  Do NOT buy a used textbook!   You will end up spending more!

  • You must register with Aplia - for the online problem sets and market simulations, which alone costs $80.

  • The text normally costs about $120.

  • We have a special deal from the publisher combing Aplia registration AND the textbook and a supplement called Economics for Life at a discount of over $125

    You have two choices:

    1. The Bundle:  the physical textbook together with a payment card for Aplia [must be purchased from the Rio Hondo bookstore to get the special price]  is $86.

    or:

    1.  Strictly online:  Aplia only, which includes the online version of the text.   cost: $80.

There is NO COST to registering on Aplia for the first 2 weeks.

So - if getting the book is a hassle or you like strictly online or just want to try Aplia-- Register on Aplia without paying for a while.

So, unless you can get a text for $6 - you are worse off buying a used book.

    2.  We start class on June 22, so be sure to login on that day so you do not fall behind.  I will be posting the syllabus here by June 12 for those of you who are very eager.
