AutoT 056 Automotive Multimeter and Lab Scope Diagnosis
This course will provide instruction in the use of the” Fluke®” 88 multimeter, Fluke 98 lab scope, Mac Tools 720 DVOM, and other manufactures meters in the testing of automotive electronic / electrical components. Students will learn skills necessary to analyze, identify and diagnosis of circuits used in the modern automobile. This course utilizes the use of ATECH trainers and live work components.

Student responsible for drop after two missed classes.
Class participation is part of the class grade.
No Cell-phones or pager on while class is in secession.(section 4200.F)
No late entries or adds
Shop lab card is required for lab work.
Hands must be clean before any circuit boards are used.
Entry level skills (assumed knowledge of student)
Basic knowledge of electronics
Basic knowledge of automotive computer systems
