This course discusses the modern automobile’s electrical systems as related to the body, comfort and chassis of the vehicle. The theory of operation, operational characteristics and methods of problem diagnosis and repair for the following systems are included: lighting, instruments, windshield wipers, power windows/seats/mirrors, audio systems, convertible tops, safety restraints, anti-theft systems.

Notations:
This is tentative schedule, designed to inform only. Instructor reserves the right to modify, change to accommodate class needs as required.
Attendance: All registered students are required to attend first day of class to secure seating (section 4200.a). It is the responsibility of student to add or drop class. This class requires lab and notes to be taken. Missed class excused only when arranged by instructor, three classes missed is maximum allowed. Instructor reserves right to drop any student.
Assignments: All work is to be typed, spell checked and proper grammar. Identify student, class, assignment, and date. Assigned homework is due at start of next scheduled class, no late work accepted. Missed test and quiz not excepted, (unless excused prior to quiz or test date).
