This course provides new OEM recruits and senior level technicians with a fundamental knowledge of the World Transmission Electronic controls. Modern powertrain components require service and added diagnosis through interlink between the World transmission and the various engine manufactures. After a short review of engine drive train components, you will learn the importance of:
· Safety precautions while servicing
· CAN communications
· Terminal and connector repairing
· Sensor operation
· Hydraulic operation
· Using the manual
· Vehicle interface Module
· Diagnostic Trouble Code process
Minor repair and part familiarity techniques, terminal repair, connector repair, filter diagnosis will be discussed and demonstrated. Computer Communications with various manufactures in new CAN (Controlled Area Network) technology used as a diagnostic tool covered.
